Leicester and Leicestershire

Leicester gets the same catering, the same published prices and the same terms as everywhere else we work. Buffets go out on the same terms as everywhere else (free delivery, a £20 minimum, the same 4pm cut-off) and event catering is quoted on the job as it is anywhere. What differs is that we are building the round here.

What that means for you in practice is simple enough: we have capacity, and a new Leicester customer is not competing for a slot against fifteen years of standing orders.

Where we deliver

Our Leicester deliveries run to LE1 in the city centre, LE2 for Oadby, Knighton, Aylestone and Evington, LE3 for Braunstone and Glenfield, LE4 for Birstall, LE5, LE7 for Syston and the villages north of the city, and LE19 out towards Enderby and Meridian.

Most of it is office catering (meetings, training days, client lunches) with the occasional party or family event at a weekend.

Because the round here is younger, we are more flexible about where it goes than we can afford to be in Derby on a Tuesday morning. If you are just outside the districts listed, ask, particularly for a standing weekly order, which is worth a detour in a way a one-off is not.

How ordering works

Sandwich buffets start at £5.50 a head and breakfast at £3.35, with a £20 minimum on buffet orders. Hot buffets from £23.50 and hog roast from £795 for up to fifty guests are event catering and quoted on the booking. Every price is per person and excludes VAT, and they are published on the page, so you can plan a lunch for twenty without ringing anyone.

Order a buffet by 4pm for next working day delivery; a Monday closes at 4pm on the Friday. Events are booked further ahead and agreed with you when you book. Standard buffets can be ordered and paid for online, and a credit account is available if you would rather be invoiced monthly.

Everything is made fresh to order at our kitchen in Hucknall, which holds 5 out of 5 for food hygiene, awarded by Ashfield District Council. Dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and halal) are made separately and labelled.

Do you deliver to Leicester?

What is the minimum order?

£20 excluding VAT on buffet orders, and delivery is free. There is no minimum headcount. Events are quoted on the job.

How much notice do you need?

For buffets, order by 4pm and we deliver the next working day; a Monday closes at 4pm on the Friday. Events need more lead time and it varies with the job. Ring the office and we will tell you what your date allows.

What does it cost per head?

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes, through a credit account, one invoice a month instead of a payment per delivery. You can apply through the credit account page.

Where is the food made?

At our kitchen at Unit 5, Castle Industrial Park, Watnall Road, Hucknall, Nottingham NG15 6BU. It holds 5 out of 5 for food hygiene, awarded by Ashfield District Council.

Do you cater events as well as office lunches?

Yes: parties, christenings, wakes and wedding buffets, and hog roasts and barbecues through the summer. Ring the office for anything beyond a standard buffet and we will build it around your numbers and budget.
