Where the food is actually made
Our kitchen is on Castle Industrial Park in Hucknall, and every buffet we deliver, to Derby, to Sheffield, to Leicester, is made there and leaves from there. Collections and tastings are by appointment, so ring ahead and we will have it ready. It is a working production kitchen, and it holds a 5-out-of-5 food hygiene rating awarded by Ashfield District Council.

BEFORE YOU RING
What we will ask you, and what you can ask us
Four things get you a price on almost anything: the date, roughly how many people, where it is going and what time you need it there. Everything else is detail we can sort afterwards.
If it is a buffet
You do not need to ring at all. Buffets are ordered online, by 4pm for the next working day, with a £20 minimum. A Monday delivery closes at 4pm on the Friday, because nobody is in the kitchen over the weekend.
Ring anyway if the numbers are awkward, if you want a standing weekly order, or if you would rather be invoiced monthly than pay by card. A credit account takes a few minutes to set up and means anyone in the office can order without needing the company card.
If it is an event
Hog roasts, barbecues, pizza, canapés and anything cooked or served on site are quoted rather than ordered. Tell us the venue as well as the numbers: how much flat space there is, whether there are steps between the van and the setup, and what time you actually want to eat. Those three answers decide more than the menu does.
Summer Saturdays and the last two weeks of December book months ahead. If you have a date in mind for either, ask early. We would rather hold it than turn you away in November.
If somebody has died
Ring the office and say so. Wakes are the one booking we will always try to move things for. We can usually cater one at forty-eight hours’ notice, and we will tell you straight away if we cannot so you always know where you stand. You will not be asked to fill in a form.
