BEFORE YOU BOOK
Corporate Catering, your questions answered
How late can we order for tomorrow?
4pm the previous working day for a buffet. A Monday delivery closes at 4pm on the Friday, because the kitchen buys in the day before it cooks. Hog roasts, barbecues, weddings, funerals and parties are booked as events: no set minimum, and the notice needed depends on the job.
Can we be invoiced rather than paying each time?
Yes. A credit account means one invoice a month instead of a card payment per delivery, which is how most of our regular corporate customers order. The invoice goes out on the day of delivery with 30-day terms.
Can you set up a standing weekly order?
Yes, and a lot of offices do. We agree the menu and the delivery slot once and it repeats, with changes by a phone call or an email whenever numbers move.
Can you deliver to a meeting room?
Yes. Tell us where it should go when you order, along with anything the driver needs (a barrier code, a floor number, a goods entrance) and that is where it goes.
What is the minimum order?
£20 excluding VAT on buffets, and there is no minimum headcount, an office of four ordering a proper lunch clears it comfortably. Event catering is quoted on the job.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and halal. Give us the numbers for each when you book and those portions are prepared separately and clearly labelled. Nobody should have to ask what they can eat at a work lunch.
Do you cater training days and client visits as well as lunches?
Yes: breakfast for an early start, working lunches, hot buffets for a client visit, and barbecues or hog roasts for a summer staff day. The last of those are booked as events.
How does the food arrive?
In airtight platters inside insulated cool boxes, which hold temperature for up to eight hours. Lids off and serve, or put it out on your own crockery. Our driver collects the boxes the next working day.
