How a Leicester barbecue works
We arrive an hour and a half before your service time, set up in about three metres by five of flat ground with no steps to the serving area, and cook to order. Service runs an hour and we say when it is coming to an end so people can go back.
Disposable plates and napkins are included. Fifty guests is the minimum, or the equivalent booking value — under that, a delivered buffet from £5.50 a head is better value and we will tell you so.
Where we cater barbecues in Leicester
Business parks around Meridian and Genesis for staff summer parties, the university and De Montfort campuses, cricket and sports clubs across the county, and private gardens in Oadby, Knighton and out towards Wigston.
For a workplace barbecue the question that decides it is usually where the smoke goes rather than where the tables go. A car park corner away from air intakes is the usual answer, and it is worth checking with the building manager early.

We deliver across Leicester City Centre, Oadby, Wigston, Birstall, Glenfield, Syston, Braunstone, Evington, Aylestone and Knighton, everywhere between them, and a good way beyond. If you are not sure whether we reach you, ring the office and ask — the answer is usually yes.

Why Leicester chooses us
Cooked on site, not delivered
Our chefs bring the equipment and cook in front of your guests. Service runs an hour with seconds, and we clear the cooking away.
Vegetarian and vegan built in
A spicy bean burger and a vegan sausage are in the standard package rather than being an extra, and halal portions are prepared separately and labelled at no charge.
Three packages, all published
£13.00 a head for the standard, £19.50 with tandoori chicken and a Quorn kebab, £30.00 with spatchcock chicken and BBQ pulled pork.
A wet-weather plan matters
The cooking copes; the queue does not. We need cover for the grill and somewhere for guests to eat that is not open lawn — worth settling before you book.

We have catered Leicester since 2012. If you have a date in mind, the earlier we know it the more likely it is still free.
BBQ catering in Leicester — your questions answered
How much is BBQ catering in Leicester?
£13.00 a head for The Standard — quarter pound flame grilled burgers, butchers best sausages, a spicy bean burger and a vegan sausage. The Classic is £19.50 and adds tandoori chicken and a Mediterranean Quorn kebab; The Premium is £30.00 with spatchcock chicken and BBQ pulled pork. Minimum fifty guests.
Can you cater halal at a barbecue?
Halal-sourced portions are prepared separately and labelled at no extra charge, which matters in Leicester more than most places we cover. We are not a certified halal kitchen and pork is on the menu, so if you need certified halal with no pork on site we will say so rather than take the booking.
Is there a minimum number?
Fifty guests, or the equivalent booking value if your numbers are smaller. Below that a delivered buffet from £5.50 a head is usually better value and we will say so.
What space do you need?
About three metres by five, flat, with no steps between us and where guests will be served. Outdoors as standard — tell us in advance if it has to be indoors, because that is a different set of arrangements.
What deposit do you take?
25% when you book, which secures the date, and the balance thirty days before. Either can be paid by bank transfer or card.
What happens if it rains?
The cooking is under a gazebo, so the food is unaffected. What matters is where your guests eat — a marquee, a barn or a big garage all work, and open lawn does not. If you have nowhere covered, a delivered cold buffet is the safer booking and we would rather say that in advance than on the day.
