Sandwich Buffets, your questions answered
How does the buffet arrive?
In airtight platters inside insulated cool boxes, which keep everything cool for up to eight hours. Take the lids off and serve as it is, or put it out on your own crockery.
Do you provide plates and napkins?
Yes, disposable plates and napkins come with every sandwich buffet at no extra charge. If you do not need them, leave them in the box and we will take them back.
How do the boxes come back?
Our driver returns the next working day for the boxes and any empty platters. They are industrial cool boxes, so there is a replacement charge if one goes missing: worth keeping them together.
How much is vegetarian?
30% of the buffet is vegetarian as standard, without you having to ask. Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and halal are all available on request. Give us the numbers when you order and those portions are made separately and labelled.
What is in a sandwich buffet besides sandwiches?
Savouries including homemade sausage rolls and chicken skewers, hand-cooked crisps, fresh fruit platters, and home-baked cakes if you want something sweet at the end.
How do we pay?
Businesses can pay by card when ordering, online or by phone, or open a credit account and be invoiced. The invoice goes out on the day of delivery with 30-day terms. Personal events are paid upfront by card.
Can you deliver to a meeting room?
Yes. Tell us where it needs to go when you order, along with anything the driver should know (a barrier code, a floor number, a goods entrance) and that is where it goes.
How many sandwiches per person?
Our standard buffet works to rounds per person rather than a flat sandwich count, which is what stops a buffet running out at the wrong end of the table. The photographs on the menu show the portions we actually deliver.
