The cut-off and minimum apply to delivered buffets. Hog roasts, barbecues and anything cooked on site are booked as events and quoted individually.

Christmas hog roast
From £795up to 50 guests
- Pork, cobs, crackling, stuffing and apple sauce
- Silver adds coleslaw, salad and wedges
- Gold adds hot dog burnt ends

Christmas parties across Derby
The Derby December is mostly the business parks: Pride Park, the A52 corridor, RTC, Wyvern, Riverside and Ascot Drive. Some want a festive buffet delivered to the office at lunchtime; more want the hot buffet at a venue with our team serving it.
Having been here since 2012 we know most of the venues involved, which matters more in December than at any other time. A function room that works fine for forty in June is a different proposition when the same forty want a hot three-course sitting at seven o'clock on a Friday.
Tell us the venue when you enquire and we will say plainly whether the space works, rather than finding out on the night.
Family gatherings and the hog roast
The same menu goes out to houses, village halls and clubs across the city and into the county. For anything over about forty a Christmas hog roast usually beats a plated dinner on both cost and atmosphere — pork, cobs, crackling, stuffing and apple sauce, from £795 up to fifty guests.
Silver adds coleslaw, salad and potato wedges; Gold adds hot dog burnt ends. Priced by numbers up to two hundred, and quoted beyond that.

The city and out into the county — Pride Park, Spondon, Alvaston, Chaddesden, Mickleover, Littleover, Allestree, Sinfin and Borrowash, and on towards Belper, Duffield and Ashbourne. Delivery is free.

How long have you catered Christmas in Derby?
Since 2012 — this is our fourteenth December here, and Derby is still where most of our work goes.
Can you cater at a venue with no kitchen?
Yes, and most Derby function rooms fall into that category. We bring what we need. Tell us the venue when you enquire and we will tell you honestly whether the space works for a hot service or whether a buffet is the better answer.
How much is Christmas catering per head?
The festive sandwich buffet is £8.75 a head. The Christmas hot buffet, cooked and served at your venue, is £23.50 with desserts a further £7.50. Hog roasts are priced by guest numbers from £795. All prices exclude VAT.
What dates can you cater?
Everything on the Christmas menu runs from the 1st to the 23rd of December. Outside those dates we cater from the standard menus as normal.
When should we book?
As early as you can. December bookings start arriving in October and the last two weeks fill first, Thursdays and Fridays especially. If you have a date, ask now — we would rather hold it than turn you away in November.
How much does it cost to hold a date?
A 25% deposit secures it, with the balance due 30 days before. Final numbers are confirmed seven days out and you can move them freely until then.
What are the vegetarian and vegan options?
Vegan turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwiches, festive vegan sausage rolls and mixed falafel bites are on the buffet as standard, and the hot buffet has a vegan meatloaf on request. Everything is prepared separately and labelled.
Do you cater works parties and family ones?
Both, at the same price. Office parties tend to want the delivered festive buffet or the hot buffet at a venue; family gatherings more often want the hog roast.
