Christmas parties in Chesterfield
Chesterfield's December splits between the trading estates and the hotels. The innovation centres and estates — Dunston, Tapton, Holmewood, Markham Vale — mostly want a festive buffet delivered to the office. The hotels and the stadium host the sit-down evenings, and those want our team on site.
Both are booked well ahead here, and the hotel dates in particular go early because the venue and the caterer both have to be free on the same night. If you have a room provisionally held, ring us before you confirm it rather than after.
For a large family gathering or a club night, a hog roast from £795 does more for the room than a plated dinner and costs less per head over about fifty.
Book the room and the caterer together
The single most common Chesterfield problem in December is a venue held and a caterer not, or the other way round. The hotels and the stadium take party bookings months ahead, and the date you have provisionally been given is only as good as whether somebody can cook on it.
So ring us before you confirm the room rather than after. It takes a minute to check the diary, and it is a great deal easier than moving a party of sixty because the two halves of the arrangement were made a fortnight apart.

When should we book?
As early as you can. December fills from October and the last two weeks go first, Thursdays and Fridays especially.
How much does it cost to hold a date?
A 25% deposit secures it, with the balance due 30 days before. Final numbers are confirmed seven days out and you can move them freely until then.
What are the vegetarian and vegan options?
Vegan turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwiches, festive vegan sausage rolls and mixed falafel bites are on the buffet as standard, and the hot buffet has a vegan meatloaf on request. Everything is prepared separately and labelled.
Do you cater works parties and family ones?
Both, at the same price. Office parties tend to want the delivered festive buffet; family gatherings more often want the hog roast.
