Festive buffets for Sheffield offices
December in a Sheffield office is a buffet at lunchtime, or one laid out at four for people to pick at before they go out. That is a delivery job and it is one we do well from here, because the food is made in the morning and travels in insulated boxes rather than being cooked at your end.
What we do not offer in Sheffield is the hot buffet or the hog roast. Both need our team on site for most of a day, and at thirty miles on a December evening somebody closer will serve you better. Saying so is worth more to you than a longer list would be.
The east of the city is where most of our December deliveries land — Sheffield Business Park, Attercliffe, the Meadowhall and Eastwood estates — with the city centre and Kelham Island the other pattern, smaller and more frequent.
What to order for an office party
The festive buffet is one portion a head and it is a proper meal rather than a snack — sandwiches, savouries and something sweet. For a lunchtime party that is enough on its own. For an evening one where people are drinking and going on somewhere afterwards, most offices order for slightly more people than are coming.
If the party runs from four o'clock onwards, ask for delivery at three thirty rather than at four. Food that is out and covered before anybody arrives always looks better than food being unwrapped while the first ten people stand around watching.
Order by 4pm the day before, and a Monday party closes at 4pm on the Friday because the kitchen prepares on the morning of delivery. In December the thing that stops us is almost never the cut-off — it is whether the date is already full.

What time should it be delivered?
About half an hour before your party starts, so it is out and covered before anybody arrives. Tell us the hour and that is when it lands.
Do you serve hot Christmas dinner in Sheffield?
No, and deliberately. A hot buffet served by our team needs staff on site all day, and at thirty miles on a December evening we would rather tell you now than let you down then. The festive buffet at £8.75 a head travels perfectly and is what most Sheffield offices want in any case.
What dates can you cater?
Everything on the Christmas menu runs from the 1st to the 23rd of December.
When should we book?
As early as you can. December fills from October and the last two weeks go first, Thursdays and Fridays especially.
How much does it cost to hold a date?
A 25% deposit secures it, with the balance due 30 days before. Final numbers are confirmed seven days out and you can move them freely until then.
What are the vegetarian and vegan options?
Vegan turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwiches, festive vegan sausage rolls and mixed falafel bites are on the buffet as standard, and the hot buffet has a vegan meatloaf on request. Everything is prepared separately and labelled.
Do you cater works parties and family ones?
Both, at the same price. Office parties tend to want the delivered festive buffet; family gatherings more often want the hog roast.
