Parties in Nottingham
The city runs on function rooms. Cricket and rugby clubs, working men's clubs, the upstairs of pubs, hotel suites, church halls and the community centres in every suburb: there is somewhere to hold a party within a mile of almost anywhere in Nottingham, and that shapes the catering.
Almost all of it is delivered rather than served. You have the room from two, people arrive at three, and the food needs to be out and covered before they do. That is Buffet 5 at £7.70 a head or Buffet 9 at £11.00 for an afternoon that runs on, and it needs somebody at the venue to let the driver in, which in a booked-by-the-hour function room is the thing people forget.
Where it goes bigger, a hog roast from £795 changes the room. Fifty people in a club function room with a carvery going is a different evening from fifty people round a table of sandwiches.

What time should the buffet arrive?
Tell us the time you have the room from rather than the time the party starts. We build the round to your access window, which in a function room booked by the hour is what actually decides when we can get in.
Can you cater a party for both adults and children?
Yes, and it is worth ordering them separately. The kids menu is £8.00 a head; adult buffets start at £5.50. Both groups eat better and it usually costs less than ordering everyone the same thing.
How much notice for a Nottingham party?
A delivered buffet needs your order by 4pm the day before. The thing that usually stops a Nottingham party is not our lead time, it is the room: city function rooms book months ahead for summer Saturdays.
Can you deliver to an upstairs function room?
Yes, and a lot of Nottingham venues are exactly that. Tell us when you order. A first-floor room with no lift changes how long the drop takes and we would rather plan for it.
Do you cater children's parties?
Yes, at £8.00 a head for the cold menu or £10.50 hot. Order adults and children separately: both groups eat better and it usually costs less than one buffet for everybody.
Is there a minimum order?
£20 on the order value for a delivered buffet, which is four people on Buffet 1. Anything cooked on site is quoted as an event and the buffet minimum does not apply to it.
Do we have to wash up?
No. Disposable plates and napkins are included with every buffet, and our driver collects the cool boxes and empty platters the next working day.
