The advantage is on the day, not before it
Wedding catering is mostly decided months ahead, and on that timescale being local makes no difference at all — a caterer thirty miles away has the same three months to plan as we do.
Where it does matter is the day itself. Weddings run late, numbers turn out wrong, and something is always needed that nobody wrote down. If your wedding is in Hucknall and something is missing at four o'clock, the kitchen is ten minutes away and somebody can be in a van. That is not a promise we make anywhere else, and it is the only genuine reason to prefer a local caterer over a good one further off.
It is also why we can do an earlier setup here without charging for the extra time. Arriving at ten for a two o'clock service is cheap when the journey is a mile.

What deposit do you need?
25% holds the date, balance due 30 days before. Final numbers seven days out, and you can move them freely until then.
