The shortest delivery we make
Everything is made in our kitchen on Watnall Road. A Hucknall buffet is made and eaten in the same town, which is as fresh as a delivered buffet gets.
That has practical consequences rather than sentimental ones. Hucknall deliveries go out first because they are nearest. An 8am drop is easy here. And a late change, the fifteen extra people who appeared in a meeting, is usually possible because the order has not left the building.
None of that is a promise we would make about Sheffield, and we would not pretend otherwise. It is simply what being a mile away allows.
What Hucknall orders
The working catering here is around the Watnall Road corridor, the Wigwam Lane and Common Lane estates, and out towards Sherwood Business Park at junction 27. Ordinary buffet orders, mostly Buffet 1 or Buffet 5, going out early.
The rest is community: club functions at the John Godber Centre, presentation nights at Hucknall Town, christenings and wakes at the churches and halls, and the birthdays and anniversaries that fill a village hall on a Saturday. Same nine buffets, same prices.
For something larger, hot buffets are £23.50 a head with a fifty-person minimum and grazing boards £97.00 a crate serving ten. Hog roasts and barbecues travel well from here too: Newstead Abbey, Papplewick Pumping Station and Bestwood Lodge are all inside fifteen minutes.

How much notice do you need?
Order by 4pm and we deliver the next working day. A Monday delivery closes at 4pm on the Friday. Hot buffets and anything cooked on site need longer.
Is there a minimum order?
£20 on the order value for a delivered buffet, which is four people on Buffet 1. Hot buffets have a fifty-person minimum.
Can I set up a regular weekly order?
Yes. Same buffet, same day, same slot, set up once, with a credit account putting it on one monthly invoice.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Every buffet is 30% vegetarian as standard. Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and halal portions are prepared separately and labelled. Tell us how many of each when you order.
Do you take the platters away?
Yes, the next working day, so there is nothing to wash and nothing to return.
