Twelve miles from our kitchen
Our kitchen is on Watnall Road in Hucknall, about twelve miles from Mansfield town centre. For most of the national caterers advertising in Mansfield the town is an outer edge served from Nottingham, Sheffield or further away still. For us it is the next town up the A611.
That distance is the whole argument. A shorter journey, food that has spent less time in a box, and a delivery window we can hold to on a wet Tuesday in February. It also means a genuinely short-notice order is possible here in a way it is not for a caterer driving up from the city.
Catering across Mansfield and Ashfield
Crown Farm Way industrial estate takes more of our Mansfield deliveries than anywhere else, and we are regularly at Oakham Business Park, Millennium Business Park and the Crown Farm estates. On the Ashfield side we deliver to Park Lane, Lowmoor, Calladine and Castlewood business parks, and to King’s Mill Hospital.
The work is mostly the everyday kind: sandwich buffets for meetings and training days, breakfast for an early start, a hot buffet for a retirement or a long-service presentation. We also cater a steady number of wakes here, which is work that has to be right first time and often at short notice.
Mansfield Woodhouse, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Forest Town, Rainworth, Warsop, Edwinstowe, Ollerton and Clipstone are all inside the standard delivery area at no extra charge.
How ordering works
Free delivery to every Mansfield and Ashfield postcode we list. Buffet orders carry a £20 minimum and go out the next working day if they are in by 4pm. A Monday closes at 4pm on the Friday. Wakes, hog roasts and parties are booked as events, with no minimum and a lead time that depends on the day.
Sandwich buffets start at £5.50 a head and breakfast at £3.35. You can order the standard buffets online and pay by card, or ring the office if you want something built around a particular budget or a room full of dietary requirements. Regular customers open a credit account and take one invoice a month.
